Munster so far.

Blog

Overall Munster are probably happy with 36 points from 10 games in the Pro14 and a win and a draw in Group 4 of the Champions Cup, though the loss to both Glasgow and Leinster may show where Munster are in the pecking order. Glasgow are the team to beat and must be firm favourites to win the league.

It’s great to se the likes of Alex Wootton, Sam Arnold, Kevin O Byrne, Liam O Connor, Brian Scott, Sam Arnold, James Hart and Calvin Nash getting game time in the Pro14. Wootton especially who is scoring tries for fun, it will only stand to them and Munster in the years to come. And Alex McHenry doing well with the Irish 7’s squad, Munster are in a good place in developing players.

Leicester who seem to have hit a pot hole with 2 losses in their last two games,  are up next in the Champions Cup on Saturday night and will be a serious test. They won’t be to worried about playing in front of a sell out crowd  in Thomond Park.

Munster need to cut down on the penalty count, especially with George Ford in fine form.
